Finally we arrive at the new Splash Landings hotel at Alton Towers!

Random tools love hanging out in random lobbies staring at random things.

Here is the "nature freak" part of the tour as we walk from the hotel to our first ERT session at Alton Towers.

Ahh, now this is a sign that will make coaster enthusiasts giggle like little school girls.

"I did Rita."

Launch track for Rita is a happy spot.  The Germans would starting singing "Zoom, Zoom, Zoom", but we just sat back, and took it!

This photo of Rita is motion sensitive.  If you wave your hand in front of your screen the lights on the train will blink on and off.

If you have all done Rita, raise your hand.
That many?  Wow!  What a whore!  =)

"Hey Rita!  You even look hot when you have motion blur!!!"

The top of the ride is disguised as a tree....a large metal tree....uh-huh.

"Did you just ride an Intamin ride?"
"That's crazy talk!"  =)

Ok, now for a serious coaster related caption?  Sure!
Rita was actually a lot of fun!  I had heard not-so-flattering things about this chick.  But damn, she was actually pretty hot!

Rita = GOOD!  Corkscrew in the background.....PAIN!

Dan is all "What the hell did I do to get stuck with all these losers?!?!"

There IS actually airtime on this ride...and really quite a decent amount!

You wanted airtime without having to drink massive amounts of gaseous soda and sitting in your chair ripping them as hard as possible?
Then go ride Rita!
