I don't see why not. The park has built two coasters in the same year, why not two flats? I think it's entirely possible that a drop tower and a Sky Screamer were always the plan for 2012, especially seeing as Thrill Shot was suddenly removed so quickly back in April. The thing about SFMM and Knotts is that they can add new rides at any point of a given year.

YOLOcoaster may begin construction, but who knows at what point it will actually open.

I simply think its YOLOcoaster pieces sponsored by axe hair gel
But to be honest sky screamer would be a great addition to the park and help add some more flat rides which after visiting last year was a big must.

What's with the donkeys anyway?

It would be cool to have a SkyScreamer on top of the mountain.

^I'm guessing that that would enable the park to have some kind of record? I'm sure they're going to claim something.
So do we give the Ice Queen, corporate, or both credit for the resurgence (at least for know) in balancing ride additions between flat rides and coasters?

^ I'd say cooperate, especially seeing as every Six Flags park in the chain is going to wind up with one of these rides.

Come on guys! Give the Ice Queen some credit! She's not completely trying to revert the park back to its old ways!

Is Tatsu still running 1 train?

Well if this is a Star Flyer then I would expect it to be a record breaker or at least the tallest one in the SF chain and taller then Windseeker this is SFMM were talking about, you know the ones to never rest on it's laurels lol.

Maybe the Star Flyer is the "BIG" announcement that we were supposed to get? It would surely come before the announcement of YOLOcoaster, unless they plan on announcing them at the same time, which I doubt.

I think a smaller Starflyer (150' or less) would be ideal. SFMM could use a few more family rides, a small Starflyer would be perfect!

And also, what if this isn't a Starflyer. When I saw the photos, I first thought it could be a slingshot? It would be a little odd place a slingshot in Thrillshot's place, with both being very similar, but who knows?
I have a hard time ranking coasters so here are just some of my favorites
