^Line could get shorter later in the day.

Here's a small update
0.JPG
^Update time

2.JPG
No one else wants to get in early.

1.JPG
2nd train of the day and no line!

3.JPG
This was probably the longest YOLOcoaster's line was all day

4.JPG
X2's line after opening. The ride opened about 15-30 min. after the park opened thus no lines on practically every other ride in the park.

5.JPG
Tatsu had no line and was running much faster than the last time I rode it.

6.JPG
Nothing to report on the exterior.

8.JPG
Inside though most of the interior is being removed.

7.JPG
I wonder if the park will demolish or remodel the former Log Jammer station considering Mooseburger Lodge right next door is getting a remodel.

9.JPG
Over by the tree some work has started on something.

10.JPG
New entrance to Bugs Bunny World possibly.

11.JPG
So yeah the park has started work on something.

12.JPG
I always enjoy the trees around the park this time of year.

13.JPG
Clearing for new coaster 19 this was the former location of a small train ride (the larger train is over in Whistle Stop Park so its not really a loss.

14.JPG
Both the train and Tweety's Escape have been removed all that's left is to remove the concrete. Oh and some trees have been chopped down in the surround area.

15.JPG
This former Dippin' Dots location right next to the removed train will be demolished to make way for new coaster 19.

16.JPG
Tweety's Escape has been removed

17.JPG
...and moved over by Road Runner Express.

18.JPG
All the midways where empty all morning. Also a lot of cracks in some of the midways have received some new asphalt all that's left is to color match the asphalt to the area.

19.JPG
DC Universe received some plants and such for the center planter. Both the entrance plaza and Riddlers plaza received some new flowers from what I could tell.

20.JPG
Batman was the only ride running one train but was a walk on for most of the day.

22.JPG
Colossus has some backwards trains ready to run (still running forwards though). Anyone know why there's a crane in front of Colossus? Its the same type of crane that sits behind YOLOcoaster but there was another one sitting in front of Colossus it may already be gone but saw it while riding.

23.JPG
Scream had no line all day and surprisingly running very smooth at least the recently refurbished train was, the other train not so smooth.

25.JPG
Superman was surprisingly running both sides for most of the day.

26.JPG
Apocalypse, 2 layers of new wood and 6 layers of old wood.

27.JPG
Don't pull your lap bar down (after the op's tell you not too) so the entire train has to be rechecked, saw it so many times yesterday.

ADMIN EDIT - I'm going to add a few more photos that Joey took today as well...
colossus.jpg
View from the parking lot. Enjoy it! =)
maps.jpeg
Looks like the 2014 park maps haven't come in yet.
merch.jpg
Typical SFMM merchandise. Not much has changed here.
slides.jpeg
Looking forward to new slides at Hurricane Harbor this year? I am!
tower.jpg
"Sorry folks, the Sky Tower is closed. Moose out front should have told you..."
x21.jpeg
But look what IS OPEN!!!!
x22.jpeg
X2 is back to life!
x23.jpg
It's been a long time since we've seen this.
x24.jpg
How many of you went out to ride today?
x25.jpg
Looks like the lift chain is back up and running! =)
x26.jpg
Some signs for this summer's new hotness...

Have the YOLOCoaster ops begun the doing what S:UF's ops do now? (Making everyone parrot back and agree to the lap bar instructions before the air gates will open) It seems like a good idea on paper because people will remember not to pull the lap bar down, but in reality people are paying even less attention to the operator before they get in the car, which means it usually takes 2 or 3 rounds of "Everyone raise your hand if you heard me" before they do and the gates are opened, and it feels like it takes even longer for this than it would to recheck the restraints.

They should announce. "If you touch the restraint. You'll be kicked off the ride" :)

At S:UF, they do. If you pull the lap bar down and they have to recheck the train, you are removed from the train and shown the exit. They warn you while you're in line that you will "be terminated" if you pull it down.

Both the op's and a pre-recorded message tell them not to pull down the lap bar but people still pull them down. The one thing the park doesn't do is remove people from the train.

When I grow up, I want to breed donkeys!

Cedar Point's Top Thrill Dragster used to have a similar procedure, but I don't think they ever rechecked the train for somebody pulling down a bar, and that policy is gone now. Maybe SFMM could attach placards to the trains saying not to pull down the lap bars? Or, maybe next time it is down for maintenance, maybe a system could be installed that locks the lap bars up until a ride op comes around and pulls them down.

Favorite Steel: Maverick|Favorite Wood: El Toro, Goliath is close behind|Favorite non-prefab/RMC woodie: Hard to say. Probably Shivering Timbers or Georgia Cyclone
Favorite Flats (in no particular order) - MoA NU Brain Surge, Chance Chaos, Flying Scooters, drop towers
I take a stand against unnecessary neutering of rides. Restore Revolution, Blue Streak, Dorney Thunderhawk, Raging Bull, etc...
