larrygator
Just like we did for 2011 - 2016 this thread will serve as a place to house a list of "what's new" for 2017 at major parks and links to the announcements. Vonni
^ You may want to edit your post. You labeled everything as new for 2016 instead of new for 2017.

LeoBruz199
Mirabilandia in Italy has also been teasing for something to open next year. The park's official fan page has released an interview with the sales and marketing manager at the park and basically there's a very high possibility that VR might be coming at some point next year to the park. Also, he noted that there's gonna be something big being invested on in the northern area of the park, where the Ferris Wheel is. So far we know that there's gonna be a large new ride coming to the park and that there's an important sponsor working with them for it. I think towards the end of the season (around Halloween) will they finally make an official announcement. They usually make announcements for new rides very late. This is where they plan to invest on.
Johnlloyd
I just noticed that the link for Canada's Wonderland's new additions for next year takes you to the Six flags Mexico page. Also, I would like to point out that it's Muskoka Plunge not "Muckoka Plunge" as listed above. But, great job Larry on compiling all this as it makes it easier to see what's new for 2017 at park around the World rather than scrolling through multiple threads! ragerunner2
Cedar Fair really scaled back in the investment category this year. It should be interesting to see if this becomes a trend over the next few years.

But as of right now its looking like Spring 2017 with a 2018 debut of whatever it is [the coaster] they are building.

Parts of the complex, such as indoor ski slope, were completed over a decade ago. Definitely past the dirt stage.
Mrlittle
Just thought I let you know that the Houston Downtown Aquarium coaster is not confirmed yet. It's part of an expansion pad but they need Houston to closed down a section of a busy road that goes between the new land owned. Last I heard, they are still trying to get it approved. Thanks Ryan, I tend to use rcdb.com as an official source. Keep me in the loop, I'm too lazy to remove it from the list right now. When I saw you post in this thread I thought is was going to be a laughable comment about the other "planned" Houston parks.
torrecillailla
There is missing the new ride for Parque Warner Madrid. The director of the park confirmed that a new ride will replace the Batman simulator (Batman: la Sombra del Murciélago). The ride is still unknown but it is rumoured to be a dark ride themed after The Justice League, just like the ones at Six Flags and Warner Bros. Movie World. He says so in this video, minute 3:05. CaptainChaotika
Also the Intamin 10 inversion going to Wonder Island in St.Petersburg is missing in the list! (Source: the park's website.) They advertise it with a top speed of 120km/h and a high of ~150 feet. (14 story building, so just an estimate) Either theyre making false claims or It's a custom design, who knows! At least the picture on their website is showing Altair CCW-0204's heartline rolls... Edit: I don't think the park is covered by TPR's index yet as it is a pretty out of the way, but it seems to be a fairly interesting one to me. They have one of the last coasters that was influenced by Anton Schwarzkopf and built by BHS. Which looks pretty cool on the photos on RCDB, but doesn't have a single proper POV uploaded on YT. Just guys screaming something in russian while either filming themselfes or their legs. :/ Oh and there is a Blue Fire Clone, a Screaming Squirrel+El Loco mixture and some super crazy looking spinning rocked carousel there.
