Deep South 2006 Trip!

Six Flags Over Georgia    Funsville   Myrtle Beach Pavilion    Family Kingdom    Myrtle Beach Grand Prix   Six Flags White Water

So we were on our way to Family Kingdom.  After being pleasantly surprised with the Pavilion we were looking forward to our next park.....

It was "black biker week" at Myrtle Beach.  Which made for some interesting photos....

I've been to Compton before, and this is pretty much what it looked like.

The dudes were checking out all the hot chicks.

Cruising around in our Chevy truck.

Awww, damn and we were planning on cruising all night long!

"Where's the buffet?"

We hardly noticed the traffic with all of the craziness going on around us!

Yay!  We got here!  We can't wait!!!

Hey the coaster looks nice!  Let's go check out the rest of the park.....

Oh, it kind of has that "we have LOTS of asphalt" theming to it.

This was the "lake" or what was more like "malaria river" that ran down the middle of the park.

"Hey, can we be featured n the same calendar as Nara Dreamland?"

Wait...are we sure that THIS isn't the park that's closing?  And has it ALREADY closed?!?!?

"Wow, American Eagle totally OWNS this dump!"

If you like parks with dilapidated rides from the 1960s and 70s, then this park is for you!

Here is the asphalt midway.

The only saving grace is that the coaster was kept up and actually wasn't that bad.

We saw about 10 people the entire time we were at the park.

"Let's go check out that kiddie coaster credit."

The kiddie coaster has seen much better days.  We were told it is illegal for adults to ride a Wacky Worm is South Carolina.  Ok....

"Can we close this park down instead of the Pavilion?  PLEASE?!?!?"

Here is the "Magical world of ice" attraction.  Oddly enough it was one of the best attractions in the park!!!
For some reason though we were expecting Derek to jump out of here!
