We were out running some errands today and we noticed something new poking out of the Magic Mountain skyline.
What is that little orange speck towards the bottom of the Sky Tower?  See it???

Upon closer inspection....OMG!  They have a ton of the lift hill done already!

Here's a litter closer up view.  Looks like it's really starting to take shape now!

Heading down The Old Road we noticed some more interesting construction going on.  They have moved the old
SFMM employee entrance for the new retail complex going in.

Here's where the entrance is now.

You can see where they are moving a LOT of earth around.

This used to be a much bigger hill!

Here are some photos that Six Flags Magic Mountain posted earlier this week on the official Tatsu Website:

Get ready to fly! The first piece of lift track is installed next to the loading station.

The monster is rising! Steel columns weighing more than 17,000 pounds are bolted into footings located next to the Sky Tower.

Pouring concrete is hard work! It takes 15 concrete trucks for the foundation of the dual loading station.

Steel columns, weighing 17,000 pounds each, lie on the Six Flags midway waiting to be erected.
Each column piece is 30 feet tall and will be bolted together.

Pieces of the dual-loading station arrive at the construction site. The loading station will take 10 days to assemble.
