While there certainly was a lot of activity going on with the new coaster today,
the more interesting thing was the construction work going on outside and around the park.....

The map above will help with the location of the following photos.  You can see from this map that we took photos on both
sides of this area, and it's MASSIVE.  Whatever is going on is NOT a small project.  This plot of land is almost the size of the park!

Here is near the entrance at the bottom of the hill.  There is a LOT of land clearing going on here, lots of areas fenced off
and trees marked for removal.  (Location #1 on the map)

There were at least 20 bulldozers and other machinery in this area, which is located next to the parking lot.
(location #2 on the map)

It's hard to tell from this photo, but as you can see this is RIGHT across from the parking lot, and there is a lot of
land clearing going on.  For YEARS we have been hearing rumors that this area would be repurposed for things such as
as hotel, shopping areas, or the one that seems to make the most sense to us, a new parking lot.  (Location #3 on map)

There is X....vallied.  Apparently this happened earlier in the week, but we're kind of surprised it didn't get fixed
for the 1st weekend of Fright Fest.

More track and supports are showing up for Tatsu!  Could this be lift hill or station supports?

These look a lot like the pieces that put the train into the flying position.  There are 16 of them, so perhaps?

More pieces of metal that, when put together, make some sort of flying machine.

I'll bet these are part of the new ride!  Or maybe a trash compactor near the ride?

Yup, more supports.  Neat, huh?

Here are those "things" again.  If these really are the "I'm gonna make you fly" dudes, they these are very important pieces of things!

This looks like the piece of track that will switch between station tracks.

Up on the mountain there was actual work going on!

Lots of trucks and stuff going back and forth.  Probably a private party or something!

TONS of new markers and construction tape.  Here again you can see the Orient Express track has been paved over.

Both trains are still there, so I'm betting that this ride isn't going anywhere.
