Universal Studios Japan
NOTE: We ended up making some changes to this plan.  Nagashima Spaland was empty so we were done by about 1pm,
and we decided to visit Universal Studios Japan in the afternoon.  After Nagishima Spaland, we went back to Nagoya and got the bullet
train out to Osaka.  We made it to Unviersal with about 3+ hours before closing.  This was kind of a crazy thing to do, but otherwise we
would not have visited Universal Studios at all on our trip.

This shows the type of bullet train (Hikari) and the train's destination (Shin Osaka):

Day Thirteen (Thursday, 30 September)
Today we managed to visit THREE parks!  We did this kind of 'on the fly' assuming we'd only get to Expoland, but because of how empty
the park was today, we managed to make it to two other smaller parks.  This also had a lot to do with the time of year we went.  Going
during the summer, this plan might not be possible, but the following information will give you an idea on how to get to these parks.

Expoland
Walk to Nagoya JR Rail station.  Take bullet train to Shin-Osaka station:

At Shin-Osaka we transfer to the Osaka City Midousuji Line to Senri-Chuo (Kitaosakakyuko) station. At Senri-Chuo station
we walk to the monorail.  Take the Osaka monorail to Banpaku-kinen-koen station:

Note: At Senrichuo you'll get on the Osaka Monorail line:

And here is the stop for Expoland:

Here is a map of the Expoland area and the Osaka monorail system:

Walk from Expoland back to the Banpaku-kinen-koen station.  Take train to Hirakata Park:

Walk to Hirakata Park (5 minutes).

Hirakata Park

After Hirakata, walk back to Hirakata-Koen station.  Take train to Dobutsuen-mae station for Festival Gate:

Festival Gate

Here is a map of the Festival Gate area:

After Festival Gate, walk back to Dobutsuen-mae station, head back to Shin-Osaka station and take the bullet train back to
Nagoya Station.  Walk back to the hotel.  (This ended up being a LONG day, and rest was much needed!)  =)
