This thread is simple! Rather than having a million little threads about everything that goes on at the Disneyland Resort, including Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure, this thread is designed to consolidate it all into one user-friendly thread. Feel free to use it to post updates, trip reports, questions, comments, and of course, general discussion. For pictures and videos of these park as well as past updates, see TPR's Disneyland Park Park Index Page and TPR's Disney California Adventure Park Index Page.

I feel really stupid for not taking any pictures of the new Monsters Inc. Ride at DCA. They're building it in the old Superstar Limo building. I stayed at the park for 3 days and didn't take a picture of the outside once.
So far... the outside looks the same. They've stripped off the old paint and began to repaint the outside using the same facade. I'm sorry I don't have any pictures, but imagine the beginning to the Monsters Inc. movie. The outside of the queue looks like the openening credits with the snake and the title credits.
Another ride I got very close to without any real proof was the new Finding Nemo ride that's taking over the old Submarine ride place. There was a lot of construction going on all over tomorrowland, but you could get a good view if you rode the monorail.
To anyone who visits any DLR forums this might be old news, just thought I would share to those who won't be able to go until after May 5th. I'm sure all the new rides will be "officialy" announced then.
I never went on it, but i saw the video on the DVDs. It looked a bit cheesy, but enjoyable in its own way. Besides, with all the "celebrities" featured in there, that thing was gonna get dated very quickly.
Looks cool. I hate how dark rides are becoming a thing of a past so it's good to see that at least some new dark rides are being built. I hope that they also put the ride in Disney World as well (maybe in MGM?), as long as they don't tear out any "classic" Fantasyland ride to build it.
Is the Monster's Inc. ride just a regular dark ride, or something else? I presonally think that Disney should have stayed with the idea of a Incredibles themed Robocoaster. Also, Disney has also confirmed that they are going to build a Finding Nemo attraction in the Submarine Lagoon.
I believe the rumors have said that this is basically taking over the ride system from superstar limo. So I don't even know if they will change the layout or anything. They will probably change the cars but who knows what else.
