larrygator
Just like we did for 2011 this thread will serve as a place to house a list of "what's new" for 2012 at major parks and links to the announcements. triggernel
IIRC, The Little Mermaid attraction is the one opening in 2012; Seven Dwarves is in 2013. Thanks for doing this, it was a huge help last year!

SoCalCoasters
It was confirmed by a Legoland CA official that 2012 would be a "medium sized" addition to the park. What that addition is, I have no clue.
the ghost
My eyes may be missing it... but Carsland is opening next summer.

Gutterflower
Hey guys Here's a list of what I believe is opening in China in 2012. New Parks Happy Valley Wuhan (5 Coasters) Triumph Kindom Wuging (3 Coasters) Zhigao Animation Park (1 Coaster) Rides and Attractions Ocean Park Hong Kong - B&M Floorless and Mack Mine Train Changjiang Water World - BSA Moto Coaster I think the S&S 4D Coaster at China Dinosaur Park is due to open late 2011 but it's going up really slowly. robbalvey
Click SFOG is adding new shows for 2012 Right, but like Larry said in the first post, this is a thread for 2012 "Rides & Attractions", more notably something we would cover in the TPR Park Index. While the shows at SFOG are great, and thank you for remind us of that, they really aren't appropriate for this particular list. We would include a "show" if it was a major capital investment and long-term addition, like World of Color or TDS' Fantasmic!, but it doesn't sound like the SFOG shows fall into that category. larrygator
Larry - are any of the china coasters opening in 2012? Like High Five or anything else? Happy Valley Wuhan is still listed (on rcdb) as opening in late 2011. Triumph Kindom is still listed (on rcdb) as opening in late 2011. Addition coasters at Ocean Park are still listed (on rcdb) as opening in late 2011. Of course articles and news out of China are not always easy to come by. A couple of smaller parks Changjiang Water World, Zhigao Animation Park have new coasters, but I have not included them.
Gutterflower
Hey Larry Happy Valley & Zhigao Animation Park are both definitely 2012 opening. Zhigao Animation Park is in early stages of groundwork and should be open next summer according to the Chinese news. Happy Valley has one the coasters on built (High Five) and the other 4 are on site but there is still a long long way to go.
