And yes, they even did this awesome looking Vegan pizza!

Joey totally approves of all the awesome food at Knoebels!

And yes, while we did need our ponchos, no bad weather could ever ruin day at Knoebels!

For dark ride fans, the Haunted House is legendary!

Very sexy guys....

"I'M YOUR MOTHER NOW!!!!"

The Whip - Another very "traditional" type of ride. Knoebels is like stepping into a time machine, and flashing back to what parks were like BEFORE all the corporate giants like Disney and Universal came into the picture. It reminds you about a time where things were simple, and how important it is to enjoy that!

And "simple" is the idea behind The Whip...but it's VERY effective!

And ride next to The Whip was this kiddie airplane whip ride! KidTums approves!

We took a moment out of our day to go visit our friends at GCI!

We got to tour the facility where they make all the Millennium Flyer coaster trains.

This place is where all the magic happens!

"Can we have some magic now?" ;)

Then back at the park, Rick Knoebel gave us an awesome backstage tour of their new dark ride/roller coaster - The Black Diamond!

Just a little bit of history - like the Phoenix which rose from another park, and Twister which was based off a demolished coasters design, The Black Diamond originally was the "Golden Nugget" located at Hunt's Pier in Wildwood, New Jersey. Significant for being an old-school coaster/dark ride hybrid, the park bought the ride, re-built it using the original track, and have re-themed it to Black Diamond.

Here's the new trains...check 'em out!

The loading station.

TPR gets to go on a backstage tour! Hooray!

Some of the backstage areas that lead to other parts of the coaster.

One of the many turns with some theming all in place.
