TPR's Road to Cedar Point Tour 2011

For all you lift hill enthusiasts....

TPR is pretty happy to be riding The Phoenix!

This is what The Phoenix does to your hair!

Unlike Twister, the track is mostly straight...and AWESOME!

Phoenix produced some of the most amazing airtime of any wooden roller coaster in the world!

The entire ride is sort of a blur! Especially at night!

There are four bunny hills towards the end of the ride which you will never forget!

Almost every train of The Phoenix, you see riders hands up, smiles on faces, having a great time.

They have no idea what to expect!

Top of the first drop...then all hell breaks loose!

The Phoenix was originally located in San Antonio, and called "The Rocket." It sat for years and people thought it would be gone forever. Knoebel's rebuilt it in 1985 and the "Phoenix" rose again!

"Where's the LIKE button????"

The "Looper" is an old-school flat ride that you don't see in very many US parks anymore.

Hooray for Spaghetti night!

Knoebel's is famous for it's park food, and while you might not find the "fine dining" options you see at a park like Epcot, Knoebel's has the BEST in the "theme park comfort food category..." For example, the Old Mill serves up some amazing Ice Cream!

The Saloon has the "travelin taco" (or the delux version for the really brave!)

Inside this "travelin taco" bag is pure bliss!

Knoebel's is also in an area prone to floods, and they seem to mark their flood water levels like a badge of honor!

Let's chat Carousels for a moment...

Knoebel's has a history of Carousels, including one of the last remaining "brass ring" carousels left in the country!
