HOT. COSPLAY GIRLS. WANT!!!!

BEER! WANT!!!!

So Raging Spirits is kind of a "funny" ride in that it's neither great or bad. It's just kind of "there", and, it's certainly not the worst ride in the park, but you can sort of tell it was put there to fill a need for a roller coaster, I guess....

Oooh! Finally something for our lift hill enthusiasts! This one should make you wetter than a pancake!

The ride itself is essentially a copy *not a clone* of the Indiana Jones ride in Paris. Except that this one doesn't totally suck.

And it's got fog!

Oooh! Trying to get all artsy! And why does this ride have over the shoulder restraints?

Because it goes...OMG...UPSIDE DOWN! Basically the story goes that Disney felt that Paris needed another roller coaster, so they hired Intamin (who in turn hired Giovanola) and they "copied" the layout of a Pinfari Looping coaster. Yeah, gets complicated. And then a similar argument was made for Tokyo DisneySea, and used Intamin's copied design of the Pinfari ride, but went with Sansei to build the thing. When the ride first opened, it was rough as hell. But it went down for a re-hab in 2007, I believe, and ever since then it's actually been "decent", well, at least as decent as a copied Pinfari looper twice over can be! And that's my story! I'm sticking to it!

The theming of the ride is EXCELLENT however! Much better than Indy in Paris.

And WARNING! Ooooh! The ride goes upside down! So yeah, watch the POV video of this coaster....

So our final visit to Tokyo Disney Resort (remember we ended up visiting the resort on three different occasions when we were in Japan), we decided to close out our Japan trip with a stay at DisneySea's Mira Costa hotel.

Derek came along for the ride, but he kicked him out when we got to the hotel! (Sorry Derek!) =)

The hotel is about as "Disney Deluxe" as you can get!

The theming of the lobby areas, the shops, the rooms, etc, is top notch!

And it should be! The cheapest "Lagoon View" during our visit was a little over $500 per night! It's not something we are going to do very often! But after having been to Tokyo Disney Resort quite a few times, not only was it the last of the Disney hotels we hadn't stayed at, but we figured "why not?"

I mean, just look at this place! If there was ever a "you get what you pay for", it's HERE! WOW!!!

And as a guest of the Hotel Mira Costa - you got BONUS FAST PASSES that were good on any ride that took them, at any time you wanted! That ROCKED!!!

The other advantage of staying at a Disney hotel is they offered tickets that allowed you to park hop from Day One of your stay! Tokyo Disney Resort works differently than the other resorts in that if you buy a four-day park hopper, you HAVE to stay at one park each of the first two days (you can choose which park you want to go to), and then you can only park hop on days three and four.

But man...look at the view!

KidTums was even given a set of pajamas, and she had her Chandu tiger to fall asleep with!
