The park's longest-running shows are for children. However, the park also has a couple of fast-paced action shows for a broader audience: Gold of Port Royal (pirate themed) and Anger of Mayas (archeologist upsets the natives).
Thrill-seekers will have a god day. You'll find an awesome wood-coaster and some other great thrill-rides there (Scream!). The log flumes are worth a visit as well! But in the end, it all appears to be a little loveless. Coaster-traditionals and well-known flat rides as far the eye can see. 'We've got some place left? Okay, lets build a coaster there! We don't need to do something unique, we just need a little bit of everything'. I always thought the park could be a little cleaner. However, I don't like it very much. But this is just my opinion.
A great mid-sized German park. Colossos, Desert Race, and Bobbahn are pretty high up on my list. While Limit has to be one of my most painful ride experiences, I was pleasantly surprised to find that Big Loop didn't deliver any head banging and was actually an enjoyable ride!
They also have plenty of flats to keep you busy, including a great Intamin drop tower and an assortment of Huss flats.
Don't miss the flumes, they are landscaped and themed so well!
I was last there in August of 2011 and had another great day. The new Krake dive coaster is a blast, (albeit a bit short). Even though the crowds were light, they were still running 3 trains and it was a walk-on all day long. I have never seen them run less than 3 trains on the awesome Schweizer Bobbahn coaster, either. Always two trains on Desert Race as well. Strangely enough, they seem to only run single trains on all other coaster, including Colossus, which can lead to long waits. Colossus is still one of my top woodies, although it is starting to get somewhat rough in the valleys... There is great bus transportation to the park from Hamburg, with the round trip journey and park entrance costing €38, which is a real bargain!
Really great wooden coaster
Their fabulous Abenteuer Hotel
Great recent retheming job
Regaining its identity after lots of recent change
