This is more of the "backside of the mountain." This is what you don't see while on the ride.

As you can see, the Calico Mine Train is well themed! =)

Whoa, woah, woah!!! Now we have the option of a "pot room???" Oh, man, this is a really tough choice!

This really IS the cleanest maintenance bay we've ever seen!

"Yup, it's the lift hill."

This is the lift hill that is normally pitch dark and takes you up to the scene with the stalactites and stalagmites.

"Hey look! It's a lift hill chain....Ooooh....Ahhhhh!"

More of a closer look inside the ride at some of the animatronics.

"Hey! It's Billy Zane!!!"

Knott's Fact! The Calico Mine Train opened in 1960 and was designed by Bud Hurlbut. Who later went on to open Castle Park in Riverside.
