|Heide Park has three stand-out coasters. Colossus was the first Intamin pre-fabricated wooden coaster. This "plug and play" is still one of the finest woodies on the planet. Desert Race is a launched Intamin steel coaster in a compact format. Krake is the first B&M Dive coaster on the European mainland. The park continues to expand its coaster offerings with Flug der Dämonen the first B&M Wing Coaster in Germany|
Huss fans refer to one area of the park as Hussland, as it houses many Huss creations (Breakdance, Rainbow, Top Spin, Condor, Enterprise, Flipper, and Magic). Heide is also known for having many rides in duplicate (Flume, Pirate Ship, Monorail). The park is fairly spaced out and worth the time to explore every corner. The park also has a moderating challenging ropes course
A newer area to the park is themed to "How to Train Your Dragon" for the kids.
|There are four sit-down restaurants in the park: Panorama (the largest restaurant with many options), Brauhaus (serving traditional German food), Capitol (American specialties, including many varieties of burgers), and Small Smutje (which promotes its burgers and fish and chips). Of course, there are plenty of quick-service stands around the park.|
