Food
Of the four indoor restaurants you have the option of American Diner (burgers, hot dogs and grilled chicken), Jolly Sailor (pizza and pasta), Metropolis Bar and Grill (traditional British fare) and the Coach House (traditional pub). Jungle Joe's Food Court is the place to head if you can't decide what to eat or are with a group with multiple tastes.

The park generally operates from early April through the end of October
Established Seasonal Events
The second half of October is when the park hosts Halloween events at the park.
Access & Location
BY CAR:
From the A64/A170, Flamingo Land is situated off the A169 Malton to Pickering Road.

BY TRAIN:
The closest local train station is at Malton, from there you would need to catch a cab.

BY BUS:
The National Express drops off at York (tel 08705 808080) and from York. Or you can catch the Yorkshire Coastliner, (tel 01653 692 556 or 0113 244 8976) from York railway station, which drops off at Flamingo Land.

The on-site Flamingo Land Holiday Resort includes many different types of accommodations Homes, Lodges, Log Cabins and Cottages.

Virtual Queue Options
The park has a Q Buster system where you purchase credits that allow you to bypass the line on certain ride. You download the credits on your phone and text a short code when you want to use them. The park texts you back with a confirmation and time.

Shows
Pirates of Zanzibar is the park's signature show.

However, within the animal-centric portion of the park you can experience animal encounters and shows revolving around the animals (bird show and sea lion show).
