New Fantasyland Media Day


Theme Park Review was invited to the 3-day New Fantasyland/Test Track media event at Walt Disney World!


Tonight we are at Magic Kingdom for a private party celebrating New Fantasyland!


They brought us back through a super-secret entrance behind Tomorrowland...


Soon this area will be alive with tons of people having fun, eating, drinking, and checking out the brand new expansion to Fantasyland!


First, a presentation from Tom Staggs, chairman of Walt Disney Parks and Resorts.


Tom gives us some insight to the design and construction phase of New Fantasyland...


And also gives us a peek into the future, as one of the major attractions, the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train roller coaster, is still under construction.


Yup, there is coaster track already installed!


Disney has a new train design which will allow the cars to rock back and forth like a real mine train cart would.

JUST SPOTTED!!! A Fire breathing dragon flies over New Fantasyland!


Sightings of this dragon have been reported for the past couple of weeks and tonight he is HERE!


His fire streaks across the sky!

This is a magical mirror that the Beast gave to Maurice. It also has one of the most incredible visual effects that happens right before your eyes...
