Terminator Salvation: The Ride Media Day


OMG HONEY!!! TERMINATORS!!! DUCK!!!!


When we pulled in this morning we got a quick backstage glimpse of the ride.


S stands for "Shop." Terminator Salvation: The Shop. Please make sure you buy your onride photo and your Terminator Salvation: The Hoodie here!


Here's the speakers on the coaster. All I can say is "TAKE THE TUNNEL!!!!"


More shots of the train. Up close the attention to detail looks nice.


Some of the outdoor queue area. Once you get through these sections there are three pre-show rooms.


Very pretty...very apocalyptic.


I wonder who the ride is sponsered by? If you know who it's sponsered by...

Ok, everyone, it's time for pre-show room number 1! (Too bad Tyler and Robb and destroyed this shot!)


There are lots of TV screens and other madness.


Some chick comes on the screen and tells us all about the ride. Apparently, the "wooden coaster" is an old abandoned machine that still happens to work. We'll use it to "escape" the Terminators.


More screens, more wires, etc. Honestly, these areas looked really good!


The final pre-show rooms have crazy amounts of Terminators who all want to KILL YOU! But HA HA! We escape! And how do we escape? We ride an awesome GCI woodie! That's how!


Finally we come into the station. You pretty much are in the enclosed areas from the outside queue area until here. It's really impressive! If there was any gripe about the ride, and it would be a small one, it's that the station is small...REALLY small and kind of cramped. But the overall pre-show areas and stuff were really well done.


Did we mention there is FIRE!?!?!? Right next to the WOOD coaster! (don't worry, it won't burn down!)


TPR's own Dcody was there! She was hanging out with her favorite coaster celebrities, Joe and Evan from GCI! "Thanks for your artwork guys!"


Brooke and Dan give Terminator Salvation: The Ride thumbs up!


This giant black box holds a Terminator D.J. that spins some crazy tunes while you ride the coaster!
