The first thing you will notice is that they don't constantly paint over the stuff here until it doesn't look like the original. Almost everything has cracking paint and looks weathered but that's a good thing really because sometimes they make these old statues look really bad (Dutch Wonderland) in an attempt to preserve them. I say keep them as-is until they are really ugly.
