Attractions
Worlds of Fun's major draws are Prowler (a very good GCI woodie), Black Mamba (a Morgan hyper), and Patriot (a B&M invert). You should probably hit Prowler first thing as it draws a big crowd (but be sure to come back for a night ride), then move on to the other two. The remaining coasters are "standard issue," but Spinning Dragons can be fun, and Timber Wolf (a rough old woodie) has its fans.

The park has a wide assortment of flat rides. The standouts are Finnish Fling (a Rotor) and Cyclone Sam's (a well-themed, indoor Wipeout with fun lighting and sound effects--definitely worth riding). There's a shot tower (Detonator) and and old-school "bouncy-bouncy" ride (Fjord Fairlane). Those looking for something a bit tamer would probably enjoy the park's railroad and La Taxi Tour (an antique-car ride).

Guests can find relief on hot, humid summer days on the park's water rides: Monsoon (a splash boat ride that's a bit tricky to find), Fury of the Nile (river rapids), and Viking Voyager (a decent flume ride with Viking ships). Or they could hit the Oceans of Fun water park, which is a separate gate (joint admission tickets are available).
Food
The park offers standard Cedar "fare," with the usual assortment of franchise food stands: Chickie and Pete's, Cinnabon, Subway, and Panda Express. Those looking for something a bit different might enjoy a beer and a burger at the All-Stars Grill, where they can also catch a ballgame. Coasters, Cedar Fair's own "franchise" eatery for burger, fries, onion rings, and shakes, is available, and you can get brisket and ribs at the Battle Creek Barbeque.
Operating Season
WOF begins weekend operations in mid-April, is open all week from mid-May through August, and is open on weekends from September to October. The park usually opens around 10:00 or 11:00 am, and stays open as late as midnight on Saturdays in June and July. Be sure to check the park's calendar: http://www.worldsoffun.com/public/hours/wof.cfm.

Oceans of Fun operates from Memorial Day Weekend (late May) to Labor Day Weekend (early September). The park opens at 10:00 or 11:00 am and stays open as late a 8:00 pm on Saturdays in June and July. Be sure to check the park's calendar: http://www.worldsoffun.com/public/hours/oof.cfm.
