The origins of this of this year-round park are inside two warehouse size buildings. Indoors there are a dozen or so rides for families, along with multiple interactive play areas (trampolines, nets, slides).
In recent years the outdoor play area for adults and kids alike, has been expanded. There are now multiple fantasy themed areas a 4 coasters outdoors. The park has made great strides to make the park enjoyable for adults and kids alike.
If Efteling and Europa Park had a baby, it would be Toverland. This indoor/outdoor park is a very odd, well-themed mash up of fairy tales and European (primarily Greek) mythology. The big star here is Troy, an excellent GCI woodie that is worth a visit all by itself, but Toverland has quite a bit to offer, including a reversing log flume, Bob Karts, ropes course, and a set of playground equipment that you'll never never see in the U.S. due to liability concerns. Although this park caters to families with children, teenagers and particularly goofy adults could find themselves rediscovering their inner child at Toverland. Although it isn't a full-day experience, Toverland is always growing and improving.
Year-round indoor and outdoor (weather permitting) fun!
Amazing place for kids and adults to burn up some energy.
