Upon entering the parking lot, we were greeted by this recently painted CCI Woodie, the Cannonball Run!
Cannonball Run is a fairly traditional out and back style woodie.
There are
a couple of good pops of airtime, and a fun swooping curve turnaround.
The only other person at Waterville that day was "Chicago Jim."
A
fellow ACEr also making a stop on the way to the conference.
The new paint job looked beautiful!
Jim and I were expecting a 'junior' coaster as has been reported about this ride
in the past.
We found this ride to be on the medium sized scale offering some really
good fun!
This is pretty much how the day was! The train all to ourselves.

The Cannonball pretty much sits in the parking lot of this small
park.
This coaster is a smaller-sized ride, but it feels like a full sized
coaster!
The initial drop curves about 75 degrees at the bottom, and there
are some good pops of airtime on
the return run.
