Universal did an incredible job of blurring "reality" with the story of what was featured in the "fictional" film. The same kind of story delivery was used in the development and final execution of Jurassic Park at Islands of Adventure. The "island" is supposed to represent the "real" Jurassic Park, as in the one that was successfully opened and not the one seen as dramatized in the films and books.
