And now for our epic, awesome, totally behind the scenes update for Universal Studios Hollywood!


"Hello world! We are here at Universal Studios at the crack of dawn to see Mummy with the LIGHTS ON!!!"


We all look REALLY excited for having to wake up at like 5:30am!


But trust me, what you are about to see from Revenge of the Mummy: The Ride will be all worth it!


First, the awesome people from Universal took us through the maintenance bay so we can check out where the ride vehicles get worked on.


Trains are regularly being serviced and rotated out. This is where they live for a few months out of the year.


This would probably be a "nerd shot" if I knew what it was! =)


Another look at the maintenance bay and how the crew is able to service the cars from the under side of the vehicle.


Yup, this is what one of the Mummy's animatronic guards looks like...NAKED!!!


Children! Shield your eyes!


And you thought YOUR job had a lot of paperwork? ;)


Don't forget TPR... "HAVE FUN!!!"


Next they took us into the station area and gave us some background of the ride. Remember, this coaster was built in the old "E.T. Adventure" attraction building.


Fred was an AWESOME guide for our group. He told us some of the stories behind the construction of the ride and then we got to walk the track!


"Everyone ready NOT to ride?"

Fred and his crew gave us the skinny on how the ride vehicles are pushed through this section using magnets.
