One of the most unique amusement parks. If it wasn't for the huge GCI woodie you wouldn't even know you were at an amusement park as you drive up to the entrance.
The majority of this year-round park is inside two warehouse size buildings. Indoors there are a dozen or so rides for families, along with multiple interactive play areas (trampolines, nets, slides).
Outside is a larger play area for adults and kids alike, along with two coasters. If that wasn't enough there is also a challenging ropes course 15 feet above the ground.
If Efteling and Europa Park had a baby, it would be Toverland. This indoor/outdoor park is a very odd, well-themed mash up of fairy tales and European (primarily Greek) mythology. The big star here is Troy, an excellent GCI woodie that is worth a visit all by itself, but Toverland has quite a bit to offer, including a reversing log flume, Bob Karts, ropes course, and a set of playground equipment that you'll never never see in the U.S. due to liability concerns. Although this park caters to families with children, teenagers and particularly goofy adults could find themselves rediscovering their inner child at Toverland. Although it isn't a full-day experience, Toverland is always growing and improving.
