Drayton most unique ride is G-Force, a Maurer Sohne X-Car with a unique layout. Capacity can be a problem but such a unique coaster is worth a ride even though many complain about the boa constrictor like restraints which continue to ratchet tighter during the ride. Other intense rides are Apocolypse (a stand-up drop tower) and Maelstrom (Frisbee), Drunken Barrels and The Haunting (Vekoma Mad House). Shockwave (stand-up coaster) and Stormforce 10 (reversing log flume) and the only rides of their kind in the UK.
The park has two tame boat and cheesy themed rides in Pirate's Adventure and Excalibur. Thomas Land is a well themed area for families. Entry into a zoo is included in park admission.
Food
The air conditioned Peel Plaza, near the park entrance, is the largest cafeteria and offers traditional British dishes like Fish and Chips, Toad in a Hole and roast meals. Elsewhere in the park burgers, hot dogs, chicken and pizza can be found.
Operating Season
The park is open from mid-March until the end of October. The park is open generally open for a week in late-February for Half Term (British Spring Break).

Shows
There are no shows, but there are two museums: Drayton Manor Museum and Bryan's Penny Slot Machine Museum.
Drayton Manor has made a concerted effort to upgrade the park over the past decade. While the rides might not as big and fast as the marquee British parks they are an upgrade over the carny feel that the park carried until recently. The park also recently upgraded their kids offerings with Thomas Land to compliment their zoo and provide for a better all around family experience. Food is limited to mostly typical British fare.
When in visited the park back in September, the park seemed to be of an ok standerd. The rides where pretty good. Apocolyps was just frankly awesome while the new Ben 10 ride was very good as well. Shockwave was ok while GForce was quite rough but still pretty good.
I found that the load times where very slow, but this didn't really effect me as we went when it was very quiet and i also found that the staff where pretty rude too.
The food wasn't very exciting, but this dosen't really bother me as the food quality at a park isn't a big pull for me.
Overall, the park is pretty good but i would recommend visiting on a quiet day otherwise it will not be very enjoyable.
I visited this park in 2006 and it was not in the best shape. The had some decent rides but the operators were not the nicest people. It seemed like they didn't enjoy your job. Most of their rides hurt and were very rough. The one thing that saved the park is the drop tower. That thing was insane. I've seen several pictures and reports since I visited this park so it looks like the park is going in the right direction and improving.
