Now, the photo update might not include a lot of roller coasters, but damn, Vegas really is just like one huge theme park! And even our day in Zion produces some photos that allowed us to have a lot of laughs! To top it all off....we're all just completely insane! You can see from the photos. What Now Posted March 28, 2005 Share Posted March 28, 2005 Why are the 'porn slappers' some of the ugliest people in Vegas? and It looks like March is a pretty good time to go to Zion. How crowded was it? Iwas there end of June a couple years ago and the crowds took away from my enjoyment of the place (it was also the last NP I did on that trip). SharkTums Posted March 28, 2005 Share Posted March 28, 2005 Yeah...we were there on the 2nd day that they started the mandatory shuttle service for the 'summer' season. It was more crowded that we're used to, but nothing like during the summer where you can't even do a trail without it feeling like you're on the line ride! The only downside is that it's too cold to go walking in the river and then tube back down which is what we do in the summertime! We stopped for a few minutes in the outskirts of the park when we went to Colorado a few years ago. Utah in general is an amazingly beautiful state. I wanted to go to Charlotte for Carowinds, obviously but my parents wouldn't take me 600 miles away so I ended up going to Shenandoah NP in Virginia. Great place and it's nice to see Zion. That place looks cool. And if you want to come to the Midatlantic to do something other then coasters, Shenandoah is a very cool place.
