[quote="thrillerman1"]Also, The Barnstormer airplane ride was one of my favorite rides there. I think there were only a few of the Bradley & Kaye models ever built (Old Chicago, WOF, and Opryland...any others?).

The Barnstormer was one of my favorite rides too. I think the Bradley and Kaye model was so much nicer looking than the Intamin version (SFOG). I knew of the one other B&K at WOF, but I had no idea Old Chicago had one too. Ugh, what a shame that it was destroyed. My other Opryland favs were the Little Deuce Coupe, Tennessee Waltz and Flume Zoom - well, and G.R.Rampage, and Skyride, and Train, and RnR coaster :) Sigh.......

I remember that trip! Tis back when I was just a budding coaster enthusiast. Good times.

Awesome thread Mark! I'll be following along with this one for sure. Might even have to send you some contributions as well!

^ Shawn...yep you were there for at least part of that trip no less and the first person I met from this site (although at the time I'm not sure either of us were actual members here). While you weren't with me at SFWoA, we sure got in some good rides at that other north Ohio park back then. I'll look forward to you adding some of your goodies to this thread!

I too agree with you coasterfreaky that the B&K airplane rides were better looking than their European designed siblings. Something about all that open steel lattice forming the tower used to make me all giddy inside.

Shane that's surely a RARE postcard now. Very cool! I like the "awesome, upward corkscrew" description and noticed the WB copyright is 1993. Is this card from that year?

^ I wouild assume that, yes it is from 1993. I don't care what anyone says, I liked Flashback. The layout was unique and fun, it was the trains that sucked. Could you imagine that ride with floorless B&M trains? That would've rocked!

Great thread Mark, these are really awesome.

I'll do my extremely small collection (including that Gravity Group one you asked about in the Gravitycast thread) in one post because it's really not worth doing in multiple. I think I have a couple more, but these were the ones that were right at the top of my box of crap. I'll post some more if I find them, and will try to start buying some.

Kennywood. My sister was yelling at me to get off her computer (the one with the scanner) so I rushed so it isn't very square.

This one was made by Sue (I believe) for one of the offseason tours, so I guess it's somewhat 'rare'.

Makes me giddy too :).

You've probably seen this video before, but here's a few seconds of the Barnstormer in action...among other rides.

SFNERules...awesome postcards. I really like the Gravity Group one! Quite a collector's item there. Thanks for sharing all of those great cards with us.

coasterfreaky...I actually had not ever seen that OL vid. What a great find from Shane's collection no less! It's so good to see The Barnstormer in action as well as the Intamin Screamin' Delta Demon bobsled. Love the Flock of Seagulls music too.

Shane can you elaborate any about the making of that vid?
