Cruise Ship Trip Reports

Allure of the Seas - Feb 2011

And of course every Boardwalk needs ice cream!

Rita's Cantina is another upcharge restaurant - this one is Mexican, and the theme is a bit more "fun" since it's located on the Boardwalk. We are going to try this one! The menu looked great...fresh churro's on the dessert menu! =)

The Aqua theater is at the back of the ship and is home to many different shows.

This one is kind of a Cirque meets diving show. A bit weird, but kinda cool.

I'll bet quite a few passengers were in that position on last weeks cruise! =)

The theming in these new areas is just absoultely stunning!

There goes Rising Tide again...they even have a OMFG World of Color fountain show under the bar as it rises in the air!

Not only were many sections of the ship "plused", but so were the shows. They actually brought in legit Broadway productions. Granted, they did scale it back to a 90 minute show...

But it was the real deal!

Sometimes you have to remind yourself "Oh, yeah! I'm on a cruise ship!" Apparently that has been a complaint by many people about this class of ship, but I think it's AWESOME!

They have two Ice Skating Shows - "How to Train Your Dragon On Ice" and this one - This one just scream "cheese" to me, so we picked this one to see!

Blaze is the new "alternative" dance club, similar to the Dragons Lair, or Crypt on some of the other class of RCCL ships.

Yup, it's dark, and filled with demons and evil.

Comedy Live is another new club for Oasis/Allure. We have tickets for this - better be funny or I'm going to chainsaw the "comedian!"

There is also a new Jazz club. Seriously, I might personally not be interested in all these clubs, but I'm glad they are here. Really helps with the crowd.

If it wasn't for the day plates in the elevator...I'd have no clue what day it actually was.

The menu for "Chops" - another upcharge restaurant.

Hooray! It's Monday! Can you believe that everything that has been in this entire report so far was from ONE DAY?!?!?

We woke up and watched the Dreamworks parade starring all of the Dreamworks characters, but mostly penguins!

KidTums went swimming, I went to the Flowrider!
