Through the early years of this century, Conneaut Lake Park has been the little park that won't die. The park is set on the banks of a lake like many traditional parks. The lake and rides served as a weekend escape in days gone by. The park survives with a dozen classic flat rides and struggles with finances to maintain and run a classic wooden coaster. Stepping into the park is like stepping back in time. There are not a lot of modern amenities at the park, but a friendly staff and dense tree cover provide a relaxed environment.
