Martin's Fantasy Island is situated between Buffalo and Niagara Falls. It is a reasonably priced park that just happens to have one of the best wooden coasters for a park of its size. There are about a dozen flat rides that are on the thrilling side with higher height minimums, but there are quite a few for families to enjoy together. The park has an adequate variety of food for a small park. | |

Terrible Theme Park Don't Waste Your Time and Money

My 9 year old wanted to try mind warp, but changed his mind while the guy was buckling him. He begged the guy to let him off, while he was being buckled, but the guy ignored him and walked away. He didn't turn the ride on immediately, and all the while we were yelling at him to let my son off (who was now weeping and shaking). He ignored us, started the ride anyway, my son was so terrified the lady beside me thought he was having a seizure. Complete strangers all around my family started yelling at the guy to stop the thing...finally he made a face at us and stopped it (after it had already spun around several times). When I contacted the staff about this...they blew me off saying they couldn't let him off (before it started) for safety reasons. BULL! They had no problem ending it early...after several strangers yelled at him. They also told me that it should be a life lesson for my son and I should suck it up and stop complaining. That's the kind of customer service they give. Don't waste your time or money!

You couldn't ask for more from a small park like this. The food is good, especially at the italian place by the entrance. The Silver Comet is great and has some good airtime after the first drop. The waterpark is also alot of fun and is a good size. Plus, watch out for the log flume. You will be drenched! It was the best ride there

Martin's is a small park that is home to one above-average coaster (Silver Comet) and a number of carnival rides. They also have a small waterpark. The park felt somewhat disjointed, as the entrance area was nicely themed and landscaped, but the main rides area was just an open midway with little foliage. While it is a decent park, there really isn't that much to do, so I wouldn't recommend planning more than 1/3 of a day for it.

This park offers a great deal after 5 PM. This is a good place to visit in the evening after visiting Darien Lake. Silver Comet has held up well and is one of the better CCI woodies around. The parks other coaster is a Zamperla "spinning" mouse. There are a few flats including a Star Flyer, Gravitron and the new Mind Warp. There's a pretty good kids area as well. There is also an included water park and free parking. The bathroom was pretty gross though, and there wasn't much that really left a strong impression on me. Overall, it's a decent family park that could definitely improve.

Martin's Fantasy Island is a fine park for families with small kids, buts it almost has nothing for adults except for Silver Comet, Mind Warp, Mega Disk-O, and Full Tilt.
