The mall's food court borders the park, so McDonald's, Great Steaks, Chipolte, Johnny Rockets, Dariy Queen, Famous Dave BBQ, Panda Express, Tomy Roma's, Bubba Gump, and dozens of other options are close by.

Nickelodeon is the most complete indoor amusement park. Many of its 25 rides can be enjoyed together by families, and although most of the rides are fairly new, some are quite rare and unique.
Being located in the Mall of America provides plenty of reasonably priced food options steps away from the rides. The location in the mall also allows families to take a break from the park, shop a little, and return without ever leaving the climate-controlled building.
Nick Universe is actually a great place to visit in the Mall of America. First off there are actually a lot of credits here but they aren't rides that are going to try to kill you like other credit stops. The Rock Bottom Plunge is a little rough but the log ride is way better than I expected. This log ride had splash mountain levels of themed elements. The park itself is also very well themed and there are never really any lines for the rides either. The mall of America itself also has some phenomenal activities restaurants shops and even a sweet aquarium. Honestly most pass up the Mall of America but you need to visit this place. It is a nice bonus to Valley Fair.
I had little expectations for this place on my visit, and it turned out to be my favorite park in the Minnesota/Wisconsin area! When you look at it's footprint and see what rides were put into such a small space, it couldn't get much better! SpongeBob is a lot of fun, as are the other three coasters. Brain Surge and Ninja Turtles are two very unique flat rides that shouldn't be missed. There is also a great dark ride and Ferris wheel.
The worst part is that there is a mall there. There are some good places to eat in the mall itself, however. I highly recommend you ignore the mall, and spend a lot of time riding (and re-riding) rides. It's a lot more than a quick credit spot.
I liked this park back in its "Camp Snoopy" days and didn't hold out much hope for its Nickolodeon makeover--but I was pleasantly surprised. Although this park is tailored for the under-12 set, there are plenty of attractions for riders of all ages, such as a very good Eurofighter, a good selection of flats, an excellent log flume (left pretty much unchanged from the "old days," thank goodness), and a ropes course for the more adventurous. And even the Nick theming is nicely done.
NU is such a great park. They have packed in enough rides that there's lots for everyone to do, making it a great family destination. It's home to two very fun and classic flats, as a well as a very new and fun flat, an amazing log flume, and some really good coasters! I felt there were a few kinks that could be straightened out, like SBRBP's capacity, line entertainment, and ride cubbies for loose articles. The rides themselves, for the most part, are very good. All in all, the pros outweigh any cons, and it's a park you definitely need to visit if you're ever nearby!
This is a very impressive indoor park that's entertaining and thrilling for the whole family. We were there 7 hours and still missed hitting 3 rides. There is a lot there, and some very unique rides! The coasters are a thrill! Operations are a bit slow at times, due to the wristband scanners, small teams, and one train operations on their largest coaster, but our longest wait for a ride was under 30 minutes on a weekday over spring break. Staff were friendly. We will definitely return!
Nickelodeon Universe is the best indoor park Iíve ever been to. It has some great rides for thrill seekers and families alike. They have a great euro-fighter and one of the best log rides in the country. The only thing hindering the park is the operations. Sometimes you can wait twice as long as you should because they are running too few of trains, or are running a ride with one ride operator when it was meant for two ride operators. Overall a great park.
