Vidampark is easily accessible from any area in Budapest, although the park can be difficult to find. The park was originally run by the state but is privately run now and has the feel of a permanent fair. The admission price allows you to ride a vast majority of the attractions.
Some of the rides may be run by independent operators, as the park appears to replace rides frequently and a small percentage of them are slight upcharges.
The park has many high-adrenaline flat rides, a couple of dark rides, a ghost train, fun house, and classic carousel to go with their coasters.
Although the park bills itself as a family park, many of the flat rides are too intense for small children.
Food stands are limited, but food is surprising good and hard liquor can be purchased throughout the park.
