Gillian's Wonderland is the larger of the two amusement parks in Ocean City, New Jersey. The environment of a boardwalk park such as Gillian's can't be beat. The park tries to keep things fresh by rotating smaller rides but the place will never be a thrill park.
Most visitors enjoy the mine train and the log flume but other offerings are average.
The park does offer relief from the sun with a small indoor area filled with kiddie rides.
Gillian's is another typical high priced boardwalk amusement park. They have one decent coaster (if you are lucky enough to catch it when its open) and a good himalaya. Other than that they have a ring carousel but they don't seem to use the ring portion :/
I went to Gillian's for the three credits that they had, but the park was not even pleasurable to be at for that short duration. There is minimal shade (as with all boardwalk parks,) and the rides are nothing to write home about. The only redeeming feature is that it is pay-per-ride because I would not have paid a general admission price for this park. The runaway train coaster is mediocre, and that is the park's star attraction. The log flume is decent, and the rest of the rides are forgettable.
