| LaQua is surrounded by the city of Tokyo, and it offers quite a few opportunities for shopping and dining, in addition to a good selection of rides for all age groups. You can even take in a Tokyo Giants baseball game. The park is at its best after dark, when the views of the lights of Tokyo are particularly spectacular from the park's rooftop thrill rides. Note that LaQua's policies regarding "loose objects" on some rides (particularly Thunder Dolphin, the big roller coaster) are very strictly enforced. The park is a bit tricky to navigate, too. The very modern LaQua offers a nice contrast to Tokyo's oldest park, Hanayashiki. | |
