Although it's mostly meant for the 12-and-under set, older kids and parents are encouraged to play right along with them at Legoland Windsor. This is more of a "whimsy" than a "thrill" park, but their small coaster collection is fun (particularly the Dragon), there are plenty of water rides for warm days, some fun interactive attractions, and lots of Lego displays, of course. The two main sections of the park are at the top and bottom of a rather large hill, but there is a helpful tram for that long trudge back up toward the exit. The grounds are very attractive, with little surprises around every corner and one added bonus--a nice view of the real Windsor Castle. | |
