5/29 Busch Gardens Europe

I expected a lot of this park and BGE was great.

This a an amazing waterride.

Inside it gets hot though.

I loved this Arrow. Those interlocking loops are looking great.

Big Bad Wolf : another Arrow I love. I wonder what the forces would be if that last drop would not be trimmed.

Wow ! Darkastle. I didn't know they had a 'Spiderman' attraction at BGE. I adore that type of attraction although I must say I preferred Spiderman over Darkastle.

Alpengeist : the long first drop is great.

Great B&M invert.

This gimmick is SO great although you don't notice it on the ride.

It's great on front row because of the 'hanging'. But it's GREAT on backrow.

Interlocking goodness.

Nice BGE update! It looks great. I havent been there since 06 and plan on getting back there to ride Griffon Escape from Pompeii and Appollos Chariot. It was a very crowded day and I didnt make it over to Itlay

5/30 : Six Flags America

Last park of our tour.
We only had a few hours in this park as our flight was scheduled at 5 pm.

Crowds were very light so we didn't even have to get a flash pass.

Entrance

Two Face : closed
DSC04729 (Medium).JPG
Wild One : good woodie except at the point where the track gets straight again after the turn around.
DSC04734 (Medium).JPG
Roar : an impressive woodie.
DSC04736 (Medium).JPG
I heard gp's say that it's an excellent ride. I don't agree.
DSC04737 (Medium).JPG
Joker's Jinx : best ride in the park.
DSC04738 (Medium).JPG
A lot of steel.
DSC04742 (Medium).JPG
Batwing : I liked this one better than the one at KI.
DSC04739 (Medium).JPG
We expected a lot of this.
DSC04743 (Medium).JPG
Unfortunately it was a disappointment.
DSC04744 (Medium).JPG
Shaky, pointless helixes, no airtime on the first hills.

Summary :

We drove 2364 miles & visited 13 different parks.

I got 110 new credits including my 200th credit (Chang) and 300th credit (Griffon).
We only rerode the coasters we really liked so we ended up at 151 coasterrides in total, 221 inversions, 88 miles of track and about 16500 seconds of coasterriding.

There is no such thing as a donkey punch.

awesome TR! thank you for doing such a great report of my home park, Kennywood, glad you loved the coasters there :)

Also, Hersheypark was sweet too. Can't wait to go again and see if Wildcat is any better that last time with the new trains, and of course Fahrenheit, Stormrunner and Great Bear.

-AWESOME-
GO STEELERS!!!
