Though the B&M invert is a concept art does anyone see besides me that B&M is stepping away from the "pre-drops" they use to do alot of?

Why with the floorless do I feel like I am staring at a coaster dynamix model?

^I noticed the lack of pre-drops too, which is a bit of a loss imo, they were great for faking out first time riders!

OK, now I'm confused. Does this mean the yellow one will be a floorless instead of a stand-up? Or was the floorless a different coaster than that yellow one?

IIRC the pre-drop's functioning purpose was for the train to disengage the chain lift. They've since found ways around it, and I think their rides are less exciting as a result.

The lack of the little "kicker" at the top of the lift is a bummer. They really added to a first drop. In some cases I think it was a rides saving grace. Take away the first drop on Raging Bull (one of the best anywhere I'd say), and you're left with mediocrity. I'd imagine a kicker taken by a second-gen hyper train would manage to somehow turn out even better than that. The lack of this element on their newer coasters definitely tempers my excitement for their future installations.

Technically Taiwan isn't really considered China....and for arguements sake I take it as KDCOASTEFAN was refering to mainland china.

I guess it will be a floorless. I thought it was a stand up by the way a park employee pointed towards my feet when I asked about it. I guess this was one of those lost in translation moments.

I think it's a shame that we aren't getting any standups this year though.

But it's still a coaster , and coaster = AWESOMENESS!!!

And the fact that it is an B&M dosen't make it worse ;P

Btw.. I love that yellow colour ! it fits the coaster like PERFECT!!

I still like the layout though.

Then they still have another coaster coming up. The Thrill Mountain Coaster.

And this coaster needs a refurbishment like how python got.

Yay, it's a floorless, all males who are not eunich's or Ru Paul rejoice!

There is a site that has some artwork showing some of the projects for Ocean Park, including this Floorless, which I believe is being called "Hair Raiser". When I saw the name on Screamscape, I thought it was a bit odd, but then I saw the artwork for the entrance, and it has this cool "Old Coney Island" look to it, and makes the name seem more fitting.

So its official. Its a floorless coaster. people said that stand up coaster hurt?? Good thing its not a stand up then. But they need to do something about The Dragon like what they did with Python at Efteling.

Floorless are more enjoyable than stand-ups. Good choice!

It seems an odd choice to me. They already have Dragon which is a standard sitdown ride and the floorless dive machine at Chimelong isn't that far away.

Although I'm not massively surprised its not a stand-up, It seems there may have been better options than a floorless, Unless the plan is Dragon will bite the dust sooner rather than later.

Chimelong may not be all that far away, but tourists need a visa to enter China proper whereas they don't need one for Hong Kong.

It looks like Dragon at Ocean Park has already received it's refurbishing.

Ice cream paint job?

Wow, the new color scheme has wayyy to many different colors going on. Personally I think it's pretty ugly looking, but the new floorless coaster looks amazing. Even though its on the small size, it still will seem massive overlooking the ocean from the ridge.

Nice paint job! Makes me think of, like, fairies and unicorns.

Dragon has one of the most RCT-ish looking layouts that I've ever seen.
