GalacticHero
So Splash Mountain opened back up again. I just got back from DLR and a 115 minute wait for Splash. We finally got up to the loading platform and looked to our left. NEW LOGS! We thought that with an extra row, it would speed up loading-nope! A lot slower. They weren't even comfortable! The logs are about the size of a Honda Civic. And the "Splash" in the name should be taken out. Anyone have any other comments on the horrendous new logs for SM? maliboomer
Reason 392 why WDW is better then DLR.
SharkTums
Yeah, I really don't quite get the whole "rocket rods" seating crap! Â Elissa "they kind of look like giant penises!" Alvey
maliboomer
^Is that the new word of choice? People are using it to desribe Kingda Ka etc...
socalMAN123
I thought the seats would be better and faster loading than before. Maybe you were there on a bad day for Disney. Probably Cast Member shortage.
BurritoKing99
when do they ever stop adding new logs?!?!?
pvcoasterguy
^ They won't stop adding new logs until they figure out that, "Gee... if we have such a capacity nightmare, maybe we should widen the trough and the logs... wait... no. We're California, and we've got to suck in everything about theme parks."
socalMAN123
Yeah, your probably right. And remember, it's a Disney park in CA, it's gonna suck like crap.

GalacticHero
Unfortunately, I didn't bring my camera. If you could make a picture with the keyboard, it would probably look something like this: -----I Yeah...That's the best I could do. Somebody go take pictures. BarryH
The seating looks like the seating from Dudley Do-Right's Ripsaw Falls at IOA. If you have long legs, it's a tight fit! I like WDW's Splash Mountain seating a lot better. You just sit your butt down and you're on your way. The DL Splash seating looks like you have to step on your friend's hand to get comfy!
