Midgetman82
1) Six Flags Over Georgia: First Update (Below) 2) Six Flags White Water 3) Six Flags Over Georgia: Second Update Flew down to meet my Mom who lives in Atlanta. She askes us what we might want to do while we are here, and Six Flags parks were the choices. My update will include photos and (soon) videos of Six Flags Over Georgia and Six Flags White Water. I don't have anything else general to say, so I'll go straight to SFOG. The park was great, only Acrophobia was broken down and I only saw one girl throw-up, so things went well! the line for everything was either short or nearly empty, including Goliath. Scortcher was a lot of fun, it was my first time on scortcher so it almost made up for the loss of Chang in KK. Goliath was fast and had serious airtime on every hill which made for an awesome experience, though one of the trains are rougher than the other it was still fun. Mind Bender was a G-Force wake-up call for me because after the first loop, I greyed out a little for some reason. Batman had little to no airtime and seems a bit louder then most other B&M inverted coasters I've seen. I still can't believe I came off of Ninja Without a headache because I took Robb's advice and sat in the front row of the last car, I even asked people who were sitting in front of me "how was the ride", and they said it hurt them. After Ninja, I made the worst mistake and rode GASM. That roller coaster is terrible and I could tell that other people on the ride were uncomfortable too. Funny how the ride has some airtime, but its just not worth it, it hurt my Mom's neck two years ago. Superman's queue was way too slow, so was getting back into the station after the ride was over. Coming back to the front of the park the line for Goliath was pretty much empty, whitch suprised me because I thought that would be so popular that people would flock to it. The last ride I rode after that was Log Jammer, fun but the front row gets you more wet. The only Flat ride I rode was Wheelie which was weird but fun! I went to Acrophobia before I left the park to see how it was doing because I haven't been on any sort of a free-fall ride for four to five years now, and I wanted to ride this. Low and Behold the ride was "Facing Technical Difficulties", so I only stood to look and take pictures of the car with the seats tilted forward. I skipped Georgia Cyclone because I didn't want to ride another woodie after was GASM did to me, ouch! There you have it, that was how well the day went. I go home sweaty, sleepy, nausiated, and eating German Roasted Peanuts! If you're wondering about the girl who threw up, I was walking into Gotham and looked to my left to see a girl covering her mouth throwing up (insert object and description here), and it was a little gross. Thank you for reading and tune in next time when I upload medium quality photos of Six Flags White Water. Ride Count: Georgia Scortcher--1 Goliath--2 Mind Bender--1 Batman: The Ride--1 Wheelie--1 Ninja--1 GASM--1 Superman: Ultimate Flight--1 Log Jammer--1 Full edited video: [coastertube]http://www.themeparkreview.com/coastertube/play.php?vid=SFOG_Simple__TPR__jynr[/coastertube] And now the moment you've been waiting for! Were Coming! Georgia Cyclone looked like it was broken down, but it started up later. Coming into the park. Goliath is an awesome ride. Say Bye-Bye Coming around the corner Airtime Galore! Heh, how Ironic I skipped this one. Big Screen. Close today for some reason. What rides on green, and is flamboyant all over? The line was pretty short when I went on. Everybody knows that its hard to take pictures of this ride. Nerd Shot! The better looking train. Now were talkin' Can I ride? Twisty Great theming. Coming into the second loop. I didn't feel any heavy forces on this ride. I didn't feel any airtime either. Again Great Theming! Someone should scrape those off. I rode the ride in socks! Sad, Mini Monster Truck #7 was tipped over. What's more creepy?! Playing some kind of Dance Dance Revolution Challange Goliath's 200ft lift Yay, an old building! Ninja was sporting it's Axe skin, I thought it looked cool. Just like Ninja, beautiful but deadly. Don't ride it in the first car, third row. Fun ride, slow operators. Quite forceful on the pretzel loop, but it was enjoyable. It looks like you almost come close to the fence and roof. This looked interesting. Supergirl Superman Did you know... I didn't write this, look what I found! Compare this high quality camera photo... ...To this camcorder photo. =-P Superman tried to make a call? The telephone booth with no phone. I wanted to ride this so badly, but my brother said no. Mezmerized by moving puppets! Proof I'm a noob with a camcorder. hmm! Family photo? Low lines = ride-ons =-) Going up! Going down! random nerd shot. whoopse, undercoaster shot. Plant tunnel, I really like this. View from Log Jammer's line. Walking towards Acrophobia, I spotted this here. Sign posted in fron of the line. =-( Did you know... The seats that are tilted forwards like it does when it reaches the top. Had to make a panorama because I couldn't get the whole ride in one shot. Close-up on sign. Did you know... I really with I could have ridden this ride, oh well maybe next time. Skipped it, didn't feel like riding a woodie. Last photos thanks for viewing. This was really good German Roasted Nuts. Edited January 19, 2011 by Midgetman82
HCLcoasters
What day were you there? I went this Wednesday. Pretty awesome PTR you've got there. I heard that Acrophobia is going to be down for a few weeks.

CoasterWeasel
Great photos, Goliath was my favorite coaster till I rode MF a week ago. The airtime on all the hills are incredible and the double helix of death is only time I ever grayed out on a coaster. Glad to see they finally repainted the signs in the Superman queue too, the last two years they were really faded. Can't wait to get back down there again. Midgetman82
My Ninja Video quickly uploaded to Youtube. I will have an edited version posted to YouTube and Coastertube once I get back to Kentucky in a few days. By the way, I found Ninja in the TPR Park Index listed as "(This ride or attraction is no longer open.)". Someone should change that. Edit: I just added a Splashwater Falls video in the first post. Midgetman82
Edit & Notice: If you came straight from the Six Flags Over Georgia page of the TPR Park Index, then please scroll up all the way. Thank You! Day three of my visit, I go to Six Flags White Water and I was brave enough to bring a camera because I don't think there are enough photos of this excellent waterpark. ^A lamp and a speaker playing some good music all day. ^Walking into the waterpark. ^Two bodyslides that ends into the Lazy River, it felt kinda awkward because it was large and seemed like it was meant to be used with an innertube. ^A look at the slides. ^Three awesome bodyslides I rode. And you can tell how big the chute is compared to the people on the right. ^Rapids Slide, pretty fun! ^The pitch black Black River Falls innertube slide. ^The Bermuda Triangle Slides. I think this is the best inner tube slide in the whole waterpark. ^The 100 Meter Splash mat racer slide. ^The end to Bahama Bob family raft slide. ^The 100 Meter Splash. ^100 Meter Splash and Bahama Bob Slide. ^Sign for the one of the waterpark's two family raft slides. ^TPR's favorite slide! Why?... ^Now you know. (once in the page, scroll down) P.S., they raised the water to be level with the white paint on the pool wall. ^Dragon's Tail insane bodyslide and waterslide with the most airtime in the park. ^Slightly crowded swimming pool. ^Beautiful Water Wheel. ^I put my regular camera away to pull out my waterproof camcorder, just incase it gets wet because it was raining a little. This slide is the Bonzai pipeline slide that's in the corner of the giant pool. Its like a Proslide Superloop, but less intense, much slower, ends in a pool, and has no trapdoor. ^The Three Slide Body Flume slide next to it. ^This was a pretty fun slide, its actually my favorite bodyslide in the park (Excluding Cliff Hanger) ^The start of the slide (Note that the slide usually has a short line). ^This used to be a slide? looks dangerous in a 3ft pool. Good thing they closed it. ^Noted ^It started raining and people started leaving, we went to the car to wait until it blows over and Six Flags re-opens the slides. ^People leaving. ^American Adventures Building, I think. ^The swinging ship. ^Balloon ride. After a while, people returned to the waterpark and I went back to ride the tallest waterslide I've ever been on. ^Crappy picture yes, but here is the Cliffhanger and Run-A-Way Rapids. Cliffhanger was an amazing slide and (as stated above) was the tallest waterslide I've ever been on. ^Nothing comforted people more than Carpeting! You get a great complete view of Run-A-Way Rapids. The Wiggles World play area is not built for kids to run, but kids do it anyways because they are having so much fun. Many kids slip and scrape their knees because they want to catch a sqirting fountain or get on a slide quickly. The whole floor in the area needs to be padded because kids love to run and the floor is very slippery. That's all the pictures I have to show you about Six Flags White Water. I only have one video to show you that which is a video of the Bonzai Waterslide, enjoy! YoshiFan
Great pictures, I really liked the waterpark update since it looks like they have a lot of cool slides and you don't see waterpark reports that often.
Calypso522
Awesome pics!! I'm going to SFOG this Friday. Anyone have an idea about what the lines will be like??? I only went once before... Last summer on a Wednesday and it was packed!!! I'm going to get a flash pass if it's miserably crowded again :-/.
Hikaru-chan
There's suppose to be a concert on Friday so expect it to be fairly busy.
haiderodes
I have never heard of a Batman: The Ride clone having airtime...they are usually known for having a lot of G-forces and excellent snap in the barrel roll and flat spin. I thought the one in Atlanta was one of the more forceful ones IMO.
eddie200330
Question about the Splashwater Falls video.....When it lands in the pool, is there a chance if the Mine Train was in the right spot it would get some of the passengers wet? At the 33 sec. mark it looks like it gives the track a pretty good shot?

At the 33 sec. mark it looks like it gives the track a pretty good shot? Sometimes there is a train passing by as the boat hits the bottom of the chute... it generally sprays up and around the riders, getting them wet, but not soaked. It's a rare occurrence, but it does happen if the timing is right.

Midgetman82
It happens on Log Jammer when there is a train passing by, its funny when people react to it! Late Edit: NEW PHOTO TR: I went back to Over Georgia because I visited my mom again. The best part of this visit was that Acrophobia was open during my visit. We arrived , and it was a little more crowded and humid than my last visit. Goliath was running well, I couldn't wait to ride it. But first, my brother and I hit up Scortcher first. Walking through this tunnel was nice! This was a good idea for Six Flags. I've never been on this and I didn't want to because of the line. Ahh, Goliath. The baddest coaster in Georgia... of course. We waited a good hour in line for goliath, but I thought it was worth it. Airtime galore! Sadly, Acrophobia wasn't working around this time. I really wanted to ride. I saw puke walking over to the next ride. The next ride, and my first time on it. There wasn't much scenery, but what was there was pretty nice. Billy Joe Armstrong! Skipping to my thought of the ride, it was slightly painful but I would ride it again. Soon, it started raining and lots of people were under a roof. We were pretty close to the ride. After a little while a lot of people started leaving. Soon the rain stopped and the water started evaporating; whitch showed because it was misting. We didn't ride this, but I took pictures of it anyways. Oh Wily! *shakes head*! This ride was dry after the rain, it opened later. Skipped this ride because of the line. Still looked interesting, but I didn't have swimtrunks. From the experience I had on my last visit, I avoided this ride at all costs. Though I still took a picture of it. Next ride... "Due to technical difficulties, Ninja will be delayed until further notice". Darn, oh well I can wait. Looked like it was stuck on the lift with no people. Either that or it was just starting up at 4:05 p.m. I'll go on that soon, but first... I ride wheelie! Then we ride Ninja. Made sure I rode in the correct seat. Riding the ride, I saw people's head in the front row bobbing extremely hard on the restraint. Earlier this summer, there was a Ninja train and a cool, green Axe Gel train. Now there is a Ninja train and a red, non-cool looking colored Axe Gel train. Coming back to the front of the park after riding very little rides and feeling very tired, I spotted something unusually large falling from the sky! Acrophobia was running today! [coastertube]http://www.themeparkreview.com/coastertube/play.php?vid=MVI_4098_i39d[/coastertube](full video coming soon) Acrophobia was pretty fun since I havent gotten on a free-fall tower ride for at least five years. After my ride made it to the botom, the ride apparently broke down with the seats still tilted forward. I'm sure they were able to get the catch car thingy back down to the drop car and have the seats tilt back to normal position, but I was too tired to find out. When the ride is stuck in forward position while getting off, you can easily touch the floor when the ride gets to the ground. I am so glad that I got on the ride in a good time because after I got off, I saw the line had extended near the entrance. Passing this ride, I didn't want to take any chances on this one because I already have that credit. Before leaving, I got myself a very delicious meat lovers personal pan. I also felt sad for the people who work here because they had to deal with this huge jerk that complained too much. Last photo, thank you for viewing this!
