1p $62

There is NO discount for extreme passholders! There is no rental fee. Just a 250 fee for losing/breaking. I asked 3 people including the person at the register.

X2 add-on is $10

I have pictures but can't figure out how to post them with my Instinct.

The park is not real crowded except X2. I won't wait for anything I can ride over and over again in two weeks. Tatsu was a walk on at 10:45 Mr. Six is dancing out side the cyber cafe. The weather is great. I'm heading up the tower and I'll post some pics when I get home to Phoenix tomorrow.

This keyboard is disgusting. :shockr:

Thanks for that. I just received a fact sheet to review before I go into for pre-employment "learn all about SFMM" class aka "Discovery" and the old Flash Pass system info/pricing is on there. I know they can't get new fact sheets out overnight, so good to have the new info.

In case anyone's curious, I'll be working backstage in Cash Control. I might not even be issued a uniform since 99% of the time I won't be in the park during operating hours, but we'll see.

What would donkeys be like on the moon?

Well since I asked all three people in the sales center, I think that they better know. The last person asked was a tie wearing guy behind the FP registers. "Not at this time" were his exact words.
No add on rides for Gold at this time.

^"Not At This Time" makes me feel a lot better than no. I hope they make changes for the Xtreme Passholder's benefit, especially when they are still advertising a Flash Pass discount as a feature.

If Gold is just going to cut line time, it doesn't seem worth it to me. But the X2 add on is totally worth it! I wish you could purchase just an X2 pass :) because most of the year X2 is the only real line.

IF SFMM was able to keep all of the money it made for it's self then the park would most likely be 10x better but it doesn't

That statement is very questionable. Actually the highest earning SF park in 2008 was the one open the least (SFGAM) and I believe SFOT was 2nd. Not sure about right now, but in recent history these parks were carrying SFMM.

Don't make me kick you in the donkey!

I might be going on a limb here, but does anybody else think it would be a good idea to still offer the flashpass option? That would keep the passholders happy, and provide a more affordable 'one time' option for those looking to just cut in line a few times (or a group once).

At least for the year anyway, while they adjust the passholder advertising...

Just a thought...

I wish they did include the Q-Bot with the Xtreme Play Pass because that's what really makes it worth it for me. I do like the idea of having an add on for X2 though, because while I probably won't pay for it, I think a lot of people would be interested and would. A pretty smart move =)

Six Flags Magic Mountain

March 7th Update

Enjoy this lengthy lap around the park!

Mr. Six has now been back for two weeks and is loving life after retirement!
"Do you like my shimmer curtain?"
Some signage changes. Flashpasses have moved to...
Part of the fluffy, fluffy bunny filled with medicine and goo building.
Today's prices and choice of rides.
Beyond these doors is the Hall of Justice!
Genisis was a very inviting hostess. "Step into my lier! Bwah, ha, ha!"
Ooohhhh! Educational.
Many guests took advantage of the first day of this new Flashpass system.
On to the rest of the park!
The trashcans' families have stop coming to the park, so they now sport this new message.
This month's Six Flags Friends Foundation. It was a beautiful day at the park.
Log Jammer, and the soon to be reopened Tidal Wave have new water blasters. It only cost $.25 a blast, and it certainly lives up to its name.
Swashbuckler has reopend and is showing of its new paint in the sunlight.
Nice crowd at 3 Point Challenge!
A new court floor has been installed.
Los Cuates has received an outer face lift with some shade.
I'm not to sure if you can purchase Dippin' Dots at this location.
You never know what to expect when you visit the Sky Tower. Here is a new-ish display board with the construction of the tower.
Chain on display.
Bugs Bunny and..... ugh.
Okay, here is what you really care about.
The turn around at the top of the lift is complete.
Not much change here, as they still need room for equipment.
Work on the entrance bridge continues.
The popsicle sticks slowly decrease in numbers.
A few more shots from Cyclone Bay.
Say "hello" to your new brother!
Time is ticking closer to West Coast Bash!
I will see you there!

"Genisis was a very inviting hostess." And rather attractive, too. ;)

According to the Flash Pass sign, Gold Rusher was available twice? :P

And I noticed that you need both a drivers license and a season pass? So if you don't have a season pass, you can't use Flash Pass? Or did I miss something? :?r

Anyway, thanks for the update, William! Terminator is looking great, and it's nice to see its progress.

It's amazing how a simple coat of paint or some new signage can make things look 100% better!

That park is really looking great!

Ahhh Great Update! I wish you took a picture of the comparison sign of regular and gold flash pass. Terminator has actually moved forward a lot this week, maybe not in track length, but a lot of wood!

^It says you need one of the following, Driver/ID or Season Pass.
