It will be odd driving into Knoebels and not having that little coaster be the first ride that you see.

Thought "Laser Snake Horse" was real.

Well that is two fairly good coasters gone in the state of PA this year  Hopefully they will be replaced with something better.

So sad, one of the most insane kiddie coasters I've ever ridden. At least I got to ride it before it was removed.

I'm surprised Knoebels removed this/is removing this. Now they won't have a kiddie coaster, OR a steel coaster. And...I hear it has ejector air...? :P

Why do I still have a donkey title???

I thought Knoebels and PTC had a problem after they refused to put seatbelts on the coasters and PTC refused to service the coasters because of it? I don't know if that is 100% accurate but I remember reading about it here or possibly another site.

This was a really fun ride.

I took some of my family to Knoebels last year, and HSTC was four of my cousins' first roller coaster.

It is sad to see it go. The picture of it in the snow looks pretty though!

To paraphrase Living Color:

Now you can tear a coaster down
But you can't erase a memory
This coaster may look all broke down
But it has a value you can't see

It was my 300th coaster credit you mofos!

Actually Phoenix should have been, but my coaster counting went awry by +1.

I'll have to post up the POV when I get to Knoebels on my East Coast trip report.

Now let's see if Golden Nugget turns up - here's hoping.

I know more about donkeys than women!

They're replacing it with another family coaster. They haven't said what exactly, but on their website it now says NEW Family Coaster - Price TBD.

As for the reason it's being removed... A co-worker has a relative who works on the park's maintenance crew. He said that the welders refused to try to weld it anymore.

Yummy! I just ate donkey!

That is cool, it will be in good hands there. Now if they could get that darn Flying Turns working...
