From what I heard the habitat was designed to keep the animals active.
I am excited about this new area they needed to attract more families to the park after the addition of Sheikra. everybody will have fun, I mean I know I will. lol.
I dont think LOD will be removed to make room for a big attraction, I wish that will happen thou. I just hope that by 2010 they can get a new coaster or a big flat ride.

The drop thing looks like fun! I seems to be a "Moser" Free-Fall on a larger scale. It's about time we got do-it-your-self zip lines at a park around here...

I think it appeals more to guys who have little ones...such as MYSELF! I already know my kids are gonna LOVE this new area.

I see Land Of the Dragon's days numbered as well. This area seems too much like LOTD to keep THAT area open as well.

I don't see why Tamprica can't have two kids areas. Though they're all relatively small, IOA has three. Plus, I don't think Jungala is purely a kids area in the way that Land of the Dragons is, anyway.

Having said that, I wouldn't much miss LotD, personally.

First post but a long time lurker.....

I was at the official announcement yesterday and had a chance to talk to Dan Brown, VP & General Manager of Busch Gardens, and he said that Jungala would be targeted for kids in the "tween" years, those children too young for Land of the Dragons but not quite ready for Sheikra or Kumba. After talking to him, I did not get the feeling that Land of the Dragons would be removed in the near future. Although I wouldn't mind if it was removed, as that area is always extremely congested and a bit outdated.

Had a chance to stop by the park this morning for a few rides and some photos of Jungala. Work is really moving along.
Here a couple photos from today. I have 6 more on mysite along with my ongoing collection of photos here

I was at BGA a week or so ago, and thought the plans for the new kids area looked pretty good. They have Land of the Dragons for the real wee ones, and Jungala for the "tweens."

Actually the concept looks not bad, but lets see how it will be, when everything is done open for the crowds.
