I know this will certainly work out well for the park, but I can't help but say I'm a bit disappointed in there not being a new carousel. :(

They still have close to 5 million in their budget. They need flats! Disc-o would be great! Water park additions are good for HW!

EDIT: "there not being a new carousel....YET."
Does that work a little better? (fingers crossed)

I am sorta disappointed, but happy, because the current play area was fun for me when I wasn't a thrill junkie, the new slides look even better. I would love to see a new intamin drop tower too, with random dropping like S:top at sf stl.

The best part about this is adding another restroom, pepsi oasis, and more seating to their waterpark. As a very popular section of the park during the hot summer days, it can be amazingly crowded. I've been there many times when there was not a seat to be found. Also it will keep many kids out of the wavepool, which is a pet peeve of mine (unsupervised kids in the wavepool bumping into everybody and not paying attention). 2 acres added will mean more room for the crowds in Splashin' Safari to disperse a little.

This should be great for the water park. I think they needed a ride with high capacity and family appeal, and this offers both.

Another nice water attraction for Holiday World's decent water park. If anything, it should be a shoo-in for the Golden Tickets in '08! :lolr:

Now for that steel looping coaster... if that will EVER happen. That's when I will consider Holiday World "complete."

I think this will fit perfectly into their waterpark. The park seemed to have a lot of "BIG" slides, so a family complex balances out well.
