KidTums Goes To Florida! An Ongoing Photo TR!

Postby robbalvey » Thu May 17, 2007 9:10 pm

Hey everyone!

So I'll keep this brief since it's late and I want to post a few photos....

We're in Florida for baby Kristen's first ever Orlando trip! While we know she won't remember ANY of this, it sure is going to be fun showing her all the photos and videos in a few years! =)

Anyway, we'll update this thread as much as we can each day, but for now, he's photos from our visit to Universal Orlando today!

Day One - Universal Orlando (See Below)
Day Two - Magic Kindom
Day Three - Epcot

KidTums has got her plane ticket and ready to go through security! (and yes we took her OUT of the car seat before the x-ray machine!)
KidTums and mommy ready to take off. Fortunately for us (and everyone around us) Kristen slept the WHOLE flight!
Yay! Here we are at Universal!
"KidTums, you've been to Six Flags, been to Valleyfair, and now you're ready for the BIG TIME parks!"
First stop....Mythos! Even without Balsamic Chicken, this place still kicks ass!
Everyone gets to eat at Mythos!
"Mommy, I really love this Balsamic Forumla!"
Time for some "baby swap madness" on Dueling Dragons!
Ice is my favorite of the two dragons, and I've always liked the "ice room" part of the queue.
The room of hot death skulls is pretty cool too.
Yeah, B&M goodness for Elissa and I....soon, KidTums...soon!
I know I'm in the minority on this one, but Ice is really awesome and it was giving KICK ASS rides today!
Bah! Fire Dragon! You're overrated!!!
Signature shot of "The Wall!!!"
OMG! *TWO* Signature Shots in a row. Rollermandan will be very upset. Grrrr.....
While Elissa rides, KidTums and I hang the pub! Remember Kristen, drink responsibly!
Hey now this looks like a ride that is "KidTums Friendly!"
Yay! It's KidTums first "adult sized ride!" (watch the video for more!)
We'll get you on One Fish, Two Fish when you're a little older.
Gotta love the "glutton pass!"
Uh,'s raining....time to put the plastic thing over your head (kids, don't try this at home!)
"The girl in the plastic bubble."
The final remains of "Nick Studios" because.....
Scary giant blue bald men with multi-colored exploding water have taken over!!!!
Forget Zorro! It's all about his chick! Hey Erik, what exactly are you looking at?
"I'm checking out her AWESOME rack! Oh, wait....this is a KidTums themed update...I.... um....I'd like 2 milks and a nipple, please."
Make sure you get whatever Back To the Future ride stuff they have while supplies last!
"Hey Barry! Can we get a fastpass for Back To The Future?"
New Simpsons shakey ride goes here.
Erik blasts some aliens....huh? What! Dude, give me a break! It's freaking LATE, ok. Sorry that caption sucked. YOU come up with a better one. *sigh*
I always liked the queue to the ride. It's very "old school and retro." Kind of like Jeff Johnson! :D
Of course we have to end the night at a new Carrabbas credit!
All the olive oil you can shake an Italian at! Thanks everyone for reading today's installment. We should have more tomorrow!

I still think Universal made a big mistake by taking out Back to the future. That was such a great ride.

Hahahaha, nice TR! All of the KidTums, and signature shot captions are hilarious.

If you're still there...have a good rest of your trip!

If you all visit Animal Kingdom at all during your trip down to Florida, be sure to check out the 4pm parade (either Friday or Saturday). Everyone's favorite stilt walker will be in it!

Its great to see KidTums starting early! She'll be a coaster enthusiast in NO time. I bet by month 7, she'll be riding hands up! Haha!
I enjoy walking two-three feet above everyone else.

What a great 1st ride! Although I still think the infant ocean would have been better.

Have a great time.

Great Photo TR!

Silly boy, you don't need a FP for BTTF. Use the single rider's line! :lmao:

I took my little sister on her first ride when she was only a few months older than Kristen. It was a Miner Mike at a local indoor amusement park (Kids N Action). The funny thing is, they let me take her on, and I was 5. Now, she's an enthusiest. 11 years old and 78 credits! Anyway, back on topic. Great photos, as usual, and I really like the photos of the queue to DD.
