A kid died, lawyers got involved, Disney settled and some people got money.
Just a day of business in the USA.

Next...

Curious though: Can Disney claim this as a loss on their taxes?
One of those things I wonder about.

Three Caballeros coming to EPCOT?

Postby America Sings Freak » Sat Feb 10, 2007 10:14 pm

Hello everyone, I recently heard on Screamscape that Disney had confirmed the addition of the Three Caballeros :) to the attraction in the Mexican Pavilion of EPCOT, I was wondering if this was true or another Screamscape rumor? I was also wondering (if it's true) when they will open it with these changes?

I'm pretty sure it's true. I'm on a few WDW news sites and the boat ride is down right now and is scheduled to be down for a bit I believe. Also, having the Caballeros outside the pavilion for sometime as a test went really well!

Wait, would this be an actual ride or would it just be a show or attraction that EPCOT is famous for.*boring* I guess it is good but it would make more sense if I knew what it was.

They're just updating the 'Rio del Tempo' or whatever it's called Boat Ride inside the Mexico Pavilion.

OK, don't they have like two boat rides in the park because I think there might be another one in a European country or maybe even Canada but I am not sure. Oh well, I guess it will be good but Test Track and Mission Space is better. :lmao:

^^ Good to hear. That Rio del Tiempo is the most WTF ride in that park.

I don't know... I always kinda liked this ride, although it's been years since I went on it. I have heard the same thing-that the characters are being added to the ride and that all 3 have been appearing in front of the pavillion for photo ops for the past several weeks.

The main question for me is, will there be a border crossing scene in which the boat is submerged in water and speeds up a little, to simulate crossing the border while being chased by border partol? :lmao:

:lolr: I wish!
Thanks everyone who answered my questions so far, but I have a few more.
1. Will they be animatronics or just the plan old dark ride figureenes?
2. I have only been on the ride once so where will they be putting them?

---Thanks
