HPIM1923.jpg.54767b544ebb80d6d0231734ff9589ca.jpg

You just saw my favorite section of the park: Old South. This section is similar to SFOG's old south themed area. This Section has an amazing feel to it. It has a great restaurant, Gator McGee's, the heaviest themed Six Flags ride, in my opinion, and a beautiful theatre.

Try to pay attention to the theming of this ride. The last few pictures were good examples. Six Flags really went all out on this ride, which I believe was then owned by Time Warner.

Love that theming.

Its a pretty good TR..but a FEW Suggestions...

1. We dont need random photographs or people or brick walls! For people that have never been there before would really rather see coaster shots and more shots of the overall park...

2. Show us you having fun! Do some goofy stuff...boost up your TRS a little bit.

3. Resize your images...they are a little too big..they could be a lot smaller.

4. Upload them to TPR...so that way you can see how many views youve had. You can normally upload about 40 at one time...

Hope you can take my suggestions into consideration!

FYI, Superman Tower of Power isn't the tallest S&S tower in the world. The 328' tall "La Venganza del Enigma" in Madrid, Spain is.

The topping flagpole on Superman Tower of Power accounts for the park's advertised 325' claim, but the tower itself is only 313' tall with a 245' drop.

Knott's 312' tall (325' with the flagpole too) Supreme Scream actually has a taller dynamic ride (252') than Tower of Power (245').

I actually liked all those close ups he had in his TR. There was a strong focus on the details of the park, which offered a very refreshing perspective on things. I never knew SFOT was such a nice park. Great TR, keep it up.

Damn you, SFOT. You just had to steal our (SFGAm's) Trioka center for this season... for no reason. Ugh. I want my Trioka back... luckily we still get ours back.

Anyway, nice TR.

Coaster shots are already out there... I really enojoyed the perspective shots. You had a great mix of coaster/perspective/park shots! Thanks for posting it.

You got some nice pics in there. What makes your Freefall the "best in the world" ? I hope that's not a stupid question, but I've never been there so I wouldn't know!

Just an opinion, I love the way the curve on the bottom of the drop catches your stomach

Right. Little things that sort of make you feel like being in the park. Like this one:

For some reason, I couldn't help but get that feeling of excitement, you know, "Ooh, I can't wait to ride that" feeling. Ride Shockwave, I mean, not Extreme Force or whatever that tv poster is.

Oh so it's the same as the other Intamin first generations?

ya, I've always thought that one was taller just by looking at it, but I decided to believe Six Flags

Um. What? SFoT's new Troika ride was relocated from Six Flags AstroWorld, not Great America.

The sweeps/cars are from Astroworld but the center piece is from SFGAm because AW's was damaged in transportation.
