Photo TR: Universal Islands of Adventure at Night

Postby GAcoaster » Sun Feb 20, 2005 8:38 am

Islands of Adventure is my absolute favorite theme park, and as beautiful as it is in the day time, it's even more beautiful at night. It's a shame so few people get to see it at night since they close so early!

I took a bunch of night shots in January which I posted on my website, so I figured I'd share some here as well:

It's been pretty long since I've been able to go to IOA during nighttime hours. The last time I was there at night was HHN, but that's not the same. That's a whole 'nother atmosphere altogether, equally photogenic though.

Thanks everyone!

I went back twice to get pictures at night, and it was well worth it. Any time you can go and see the park will be open later one night than all the rest, go to the park that night so you get see it lit up! Disney at night is beautiful, but IOA is incredible.

I bring lost and found up to the Port of Entry a lot at night and it's amazing to see the park lit up with no one in it... almost surreal because the music is so much louder when there's no one around and it's just you.. Have to get some pictures of it before I leave in a few weeks :(

I'll be there in a couple of weeks. Hopefully I'll be able to get some nice night time shots.

That is if the're able to fix the rides after I've taken my day time shots!
