Rough Rider
Hi guys. Just been on a Tagada ride at my local travelling fair in good old Pembrokeshire in Wales (Not far from Megafobia at Oakwood) IT WAS REALLY INTENSE. The ride operator actually made a statement that there were no Tagada rides any where in the......USA Can any of you guys confirm this statement, as I'm very curious. Thanks Ryan
viking86
I havent ridden any, but considering the possible dangers of riding those I wouldnt be surprised if there are none in the US.
TheGreatOne
I've heard the reason why we haven't seen many (or any) is because of insurance reasons. The fact that there isn't any restraining devices is not a help, either. -Bryan "would love to try one sometime" Wood
What Now
Doesn't Blackpool Pleasure Beach have an indoor Tagada?
Angry_Gumball
Looking at them, from some weird reason, I faintly remember seeing one at the fair when I was really young. Main thing I remember seeing was a wobbly disc spinning about with people seated around the outter rim.
QuakerOaties
Of all the fairs I have been to, I have never seen a tagada ride. Mark "But damn, they look like fun" Luskus
benzo41190
I remember seeing a video where there were these kids sitting on the middle of it. Then they got thrown to the side. The ride slowed down and then they got back in there seats Then the ride started again. The video was on the one Kermis Video site, cant remember what its called

WildMouse
Doesn't Blackpool Pleasure Beach have an indoor Tagada? Yes, a horror themed one complete with dinner table. It's the climax to the Trauma Towers walkthrough attraction. It's not as wild as the travelling version but it's still a lot of fun.
Ed
Tagada's are really scary. I remember holding onto anything I could on one when I was small.
socalMAN123
Does anyone have a picture of this? It sounds pretty cool. ---Brent P.S.- Shouldn't this be in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, and Rodents?
Ed
The one at Blackpool is much larger however and you cant wander into the middle of it. The ride spins round, and tilts up. I think.
Flyingcoasterfreak
No way in hell would I ride on that. Or even operate it.
viking86
It doesnt really tilt up. Its more like its 'jumping' around as it spins. Check out this awesome video. Right after the 3 min mark everything goes crazy: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qzUARGecmsA&search=tagada

ECZenith
The ekirmes/ikirmes DVDs show a couple of these. They would never last in this sue-happy country.
